A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a secretary to join a successful City based financial services firm to provide full secretarial and administrative support to a private client team.
Your extensive experience in audio and copy typing will enable you to perform essential tasks such as drafting general correspondence, creating memos, writing and responding to emails as well as handling reports, files and mail merges.
Exceptional organizational skills will be valued by the company as you will be utilizing your great attention to detail in order to provide excellent diary management, including the coordination of appointments, meetings and corporate lunches; booking rooms; contacting clients to confirm arrangements and the coordination of travel arrangements. Additionally, the management of important and confidential documents is an essential part of this role, thus the importance of discretion and the ability to work independently remains crucial.
The successful candidate will be client focused, with an aim to deliver outstanding customer service. Exceptional personal judgement and independence is valued as well as the ability to work well in a small or large team, thus strong communication skills are required.
Key skills and experience required:
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and Excel
- Quick yet accurate audio typing (minimum of 60wpm)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a pressurized environment and the professionalism to prioritize work
- Team player
- The willingness to take on any task
