a Great opportunity for an Accounts Assistant (ATT ideally) to join a Family Office based in the west-end working for an inspiring and successful individual with a great reputation for making a difference.

This position requires an individual who has worked in a Private Office or a Family office previously. 



The Accounts Assistant will take responsibility for the day-to-day accounting and financial reporting. 

This is a full-time role reporting to the Finance Manager.

The Accounts Assistant will assist the Finance Manager as directed and take responsibility for general accounting and reporting including input of all financial transactions onto Sage and the maintenance of the accounting ledgers and monthly ledger reconciliations and other ad-hoc duties as directed by the Finance Manag


Bookkeeping experience including recording and ensuring accuracy of income, sales ledger, purchase ledger transactions, bank transactions and bank reconciliation. 

Good knowledge of Sage Line 50. 

Preparation of quarterly VAT return from Sage. 

 Processing monthly and yearly journals to Sage, ie payroll, prepayments, accruals and depreciation journals etc. 

Maintaining and processing petty cash information in multiple currencies. 

Regular review of balance sheet control accounts for accuracy and review of nominal ledger activities. 

Preparation of the year end file. 

Strong attention to detail and high level of organisation. 

Willingness to work closely with team members. 

Excellent time-management skills. 

Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. 

Complete fluency in oral and written English. 

Dealing with any queries arising and liaising with Finance Manager. 

Complete discretion and tact when undertaking assigned roles.



Part or fully qualified for AAT (or qualified by experience).
