This is an excellent role working for a property business with international interests in the hospitality and travel industry. Their unique business model and small UK based team make this a role that will see you working closely with the management team as the PA whilst taking on tasks to ensure the office runs smoothly on a day to day basis.
This is a relaxed but professional working environment. You will arrive at work, and work hard whilst you are there, but without the expectation to keep an eye on your e-mails and manage matters out of hours. Perfect if you are an efficient PA looking for work/life balance. The Managing Director is a fair and reasonable manager who expects someone to use their initiative and proactively find ways to add value within their growing business. He will allow you to get on with your job without micromanaging provided he can see the results. For the duration of this cover, you will completely own this role.
You will look after aspects of diary management and travel coordination as well as liaising with International office contacts for a range of matters. You will assist in setting up conference calls, managing the SharePoint portal, expenses and basic finance functions. You will be happy to roll up your sleeves and assist with I.T., office management, filing and general admin. Comfortable working autonomously, you will work quickly during the busy periods and find ways to keep your days full during the quiet times.
We are looking for someone with good MS Office skills and an aptitude for new systems, Experience using SharePoint will be very highly regarded and give you a huge advantage. Please bring your sense of humour and willingness to assist with any task.
