My client, a top International Investment Firm, based in their beautiful offices in the West End are looking for an International Facilities Manager. The role entails managing and having oversight of the facilities operations for their Europe, Asia and Australia offices. It will be based in their London office and report to the Facilities Director located at their Headquarters in Boston. The role will require a high level of technical expertise in real estate and commercial property and be very capable to communicate effectively with the senior professionals within the company.  The role will also involve periodic international travel.


  • Be the first point of contact on all high level facilities issues in Europe, Asia and Australia
  • Manage in-house and outsourced resources ensuring a high quality service
  • Provide regular communication and management information to the Facilities Director as periodically required
  • Provide technical expertise on real estate and commercial property in Europe, Asia and Australia

  • Develop and maintain professional standards of facilities operations management

  • Manage and develop the Office Administrator based in London

  • Work closely with Building Management in each location to resolve any premises issues within a timely manner
  • Responsible for the project management of all construction work
  • Work with colleagues in Boston to establish and maintain the facility operating budget
  • Work with the procurement team to review all supplier contracts and commercial terms and conditions to ensure they are cost effective and meet the Group’s requirements
  • Ensure all internal policies and jurisdictional legislation are consistently complied with at all times
  • Responsible for the office compliance of Health and Safety standards
  • Implement and maintain IT systems to improve the operating quality and efficiency of the facilities offering
  • Manage the business continuity plan/emergency/disaster recovery procedures in each location
  • Interact cooperatively with the Global Real Estate Provider


  • Proven track record of international facilities management of multiple sites
  • Project management of complex commercial construction work
  • Direct experience in space planning /office moves (internal & external relocations)
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, providing high quality service and support
  • Effectively manages projects, meeting necessary deadlines
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Detail orientated and has a keen eye for maintaining high-end spaces
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
