Our client, a prominent insurance firm is seeking a bright and amicable interim receptionist to join their team on a part-time basis. This is a 5 – 6month contract and involves working Wednesday to Friday, and so would suit any candidate looking for a desirable work/life balance. Compensation is £24,000 pro rata, and offers the opportunity to work in the heart of the financial centre of London. The firm are well-established in their sector, and boast a distinctively collegiate and friendly working environment.
Presenting yourself in the best possible light to all clients and guest will be important to reflect the image of the company. This role entails responsibility for looking after all front of house tasks including meeting and greeting guests in a warm and professional manner. Day to day tasks will also include an effective handling of telephone calls and gate-keeping. In addition to this you will be responsible for general office matters including supplier relationships and the management of health and safety. You will also work closely with the Facilities Coordinator ensuring the office upkeep.
The successful candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- 1-3 years’ experience in a fast paced customer service or receptionist environment
- Experience of the insurance industry
- Computer literate
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Experience and confidence in handling issues concerning facilities management and health and safety
- Excellent organisational skills, with an ability to effectively prioritise”
