A private equity company based in the city requires a permanent Receptionist to join them ASAP. 

The focus of the role is to be able to maintain at all times a calm manner, have plenty of discretion and integrity when dealing with visitors and callers and be able to build rapport and focus on client needs. Office hours are shifts between 8am and 6pm.

The ideal candidate will make prompt clear decisions, take responsibility, able to use own initiative to solve problems and take ownership of outcomes. When working with people you need to be able to relate well to people of all levels, interacts with external clients and colleagues with a high level of professionalism and have an excellent telephone manner.

It is essential that you are able to prioritise workload and deal with several tasks at once, be well-organised and adaptable; able to respond immediately to ad hoc requirements, manage time effectively and own performance against deadlines and objectives.

The reception role is absolutely crucial to our client, not only being the face of their business but also assisting all the PA’s and Office Manager within the business. 

Skills / experience required:

  • Recent experience gained within a similar role.
  • Ability to multi task and prioritise whilst working under pressure
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise with senior level employees
  • Fine eye for detail
  • Adaptable and flexible approach
