Tiger made a decision at the beginning of 2008 to expand their operation to the United Arab Emirates, with particular attention to Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

A number of our Clients have an increasing office presence in this part of the World and consequently we have found there to be a need for high calibre native English speaking support staff, particularly at the Senior PA/EA and Legal Secretary levels. There is a demand for Project Managers and Business Managers across the board as well and we continue to be successful in the placing of these. Unsurprisingly, English speakers who also speak Arabic are in high demand and we are able to source workers with these skills for our Clients.

Our current client base in the area encompasses the financial and legal sectors with further inroads into the Executive Search, “High Profile” and Marketing/Advertising sectors occuring on a weekly basis.

Whilst Tiger UAE is located and run from our London office, we feel it is important to have a Senior Consultant “on the ground” in Dubai/Abu Dhabi for two days in every month to conduct meetings with our current and prospective Clients. We have two Senior Consultants dedicated to this area of our operation in addition to a New Business Manager.

“Personality fit” has always been the keystone to our successful recruitment methods and as part of our unique service, we have set up video conferencing facilities to allow our Clients to interview “face-to-face”. This simplifies the process of recruiting out of the UK and we are always looking at additional ways to improve our service. (Any suggestions gratefully received).
